Champion Black Pebble Finish Aerobic Mat Review

We have a variety of exercise mats on our laminate flooring.Most are very thin, mostly to protect the floor from the elliptical, stationary bike, trainer and weights.But I wanted a thicker mat for jump rope.

This fits the bill.It's much thicker than I expected, and excellent at both reducing shock and reducing noise.And it's nicely finished, with bevelled edges.Definitely a good value.

The only flaws are that after a month it still curls in at the edges from being rolled up when manufactured/shipped, and the bottom is very slippery.No aerobics on this one!I mean so slippery that if you have one foot and all your weight in the middle, and with the other foot do a "back-tap-back-tap" combo, the mat will pivot!And this is on textured laminate, hardly a slippery material!But for jumprope, yoga, sit-ups, push-ups and so on, it's perfect.
